Photos still pre-May, but the mood was already setting for this May time. 😊
#Mountains.
My great passion and always an amazing adventure. Every time I hit the road, all I think about is what’s in front of me. Completely the same as before starting any new project in INDEVOPS. 😊
This time Babia Gora conquered! Beautiful views, tranquility and even get tired.
My people at Indevops say that the mountains and tenis the only moments that are able to distract me from work. 😉 hmmm…I’ll think about it tomorrow. 😊
Fact, the head in the mountains rests like nowhere else. There is time and space to clear it and lose yourself in nature, phenomenal views. Staying a while alone with your own thoughts.
Overcoming one’s own limitations or weaknesses, because, as Terentius used to say, “Homo sum et nil humanum, a me alienum esse puto.” 🙂
Active rest, fatigue and great satisfaction. Moments when I forget about projects, tenders, because I know that clients will be taken care of. Already the hashtag#Indevops team will take care of that.
As always, there is a lot going on in our world, because as many of you know work is also my passion. The big sales topics are getting finalized, we are taking off in EU projects, well, and we are pushing hard our new venture #Sarkan.
Our #sales team has grown significantly, as we have three new account managers, that is, with Kaśka Katarzyna Ocalewska (who has been at Indevops for almost a year now) a total of four strong people Barbara Brandon, Jaroslaw Matusiak, Simon Haly and me. 😊
You know or not, but #monitoring, #orchestration have no secrets for us, because we are strongly supported by the #OPS team headed by Marcin Rzepa. Actually for me they have no secrets at all, but that’s a story for another story. 😊
As for #Sarkan, you can also already read a lot about it, go to our website sarkan.io, which I am mega proud of.
I don’t like to brag, but Ewa Szymczak pressures me 😊 so I’m bragging because I’ve already gathered a lot of positive words from you on this topic.

See who hasn’t been. Write if you have questions: to me or Simon Haly. We’ll be happy to meet and chat.
Well, but in order not to miss the May Day,
Things don’t always go according to plan, especially when working with people. Since Paweł Orzechowski gave me the new challenge of leading the IDO-BDM team, which consists of Salespeople and “my” little piece of marketing in Indevops, I have faced many challenges.
At first, there was happiness, but also thoughts of whether I could handle it? Who else but me! Then frustration, because not everything goes “my way”, and you have to be really delicate with people.
In addition, remote work makes it difficult to collaborate. Of course, we meet “in person” from time to time, and my colleagues are really great people, but there are still squabbles. My sharp (sometimes) tongue doesn’t help.
This brings us back to the topic of ego, which I have already mentioned. So I put my ego in my pocket and look for solutions: in books, podcasts, my own experiences, conversations. I ask and talk to my husband, kids and of course my boss, but also our great scrum master Łukasz Maciaszek, “rookie” Kacper Durawa and the sales-marketing team. They give support and valuable feedback! Not advice, because you know what advice is paved with…
In Indevops, we follow the principle that intention matters. That’s why I always start with the assumption that my intentions are pure and always come from the principles that I distinguish myself by, not only at work but also in life. Empathy, trust, dialogue, mindfulness, sense of humor.
I always act in the best interests of my company. Yes, my company, because when I started working with Indevops, I really identified with its values and I really believe in the direction we are going! The path is what matters, do it so that it is good… obvious and easy solutions were never the key to cooperation in Indevops. The key is to find such #solutions that the customer is satisfied! There is, it is the overriding principle, but I believe that as colleagues, we should also be happy while working towards achieving it.
Indevops has already grown to 28 people (a year ago when I started, there were 16 of us)!
High-class specialists from the world of #DevOps: programmers, #sales managers, scrum masters, students who are starting their adventure on the labor market and experienced experts in high-level IT, management and business.
Going back to my serving the team, yes, I deliberately use this word because management is not a good word. My colleague Łukasz made me realize that I am here to help people, not to “rule” them.
There are many interesting adventures ahead of me, as each morning #daily with the Team shows. A lot of #brainstorming and searching for the best route to success. Every day is a new challenge and a journey that I set out on. I stand up and take up the gauntlet.
Write if you want to talk about more than just #monitoring #automation or #orchestration. Just write! I’d love to tell you how we do it at Indevops!
P.S. It’s no coincidence that our team names start with IDO: I do (it)!!!
Thanks Paweł Koper for the great marketing campaign idea, but more on that another time.
Do you enjoy it, or is it just a chore that gives you money to live on?
Do you think at all about what your work means to you?
I think about it often, and I always engage in what I believe in. When I started INDEVOPS, I wasn’t entirely convinced that the IT world would actually turn out to be my second home. I went into my responsibilities with uncertainty, as if I were taking my first step.
After almost a year, I find that my fears were just a figment of my imagination and had nothing to do with what I am experiencing now.
The #culture and #mission of Indevops, with which we go to clients, is definitely my fable. Indevops, are competent, reliable people who are committed and passionate about the smallest detail of the products they create. They are people I trust because they give me the space to show what we do my way. The way I feel and see it.
Projects and implementations: #monitoring, #orchestration or others we work on are very complex and require highly specialized knowledge in many areas of broad IT. They require many hours of meticulous work, attentiveness, documentation creation and continuous testing. Often going back to the beginning and coding, writing or programming again. They require attention to relationships and listening to what our audience needs. Along the way, we encounter various obstacles that only through commitment and belief in shared success we can overcome.
👌 Think about what I wrote in the context of your work and share with us.
👌 What’s your story?
Let me tell you a company secret. 😉 My #CEO Pawel Orzechowski gets upset with me most often for two reasons:
😉 because I’m constantly thinking about food,
😉 because my cat shows up on our #daily.
I have been mustering up for a long time to write a text about the November IT Women “Business partnerships as a way to success”.
Not because I don’t have anything to say, but because the meeting made a huge impression on me.
It was a meeting full of twists and turns, full of humor and emotions.
It started with the information that Dorota Wellman would not perform for us. A big surprise, because I got the impression that many of us were really looking forward to this meeting. The first reaction was, well, sadness, but immediately afterwards it turned out that Ms. Dorota had a worthy replacement-Malgosia Ohme. Both ladies are interesting, but their vibes are different.
Malgosia’s lecture turned out to be extraordinary. She moved the heart and soul, there was a lot of laughter and tears, there was everything that I did not expect at all, but which I love, even poetry. Pure magic.
Empathy and great kindness – that’s all Małgosia.
Professional burnout, life values, spirituality are just a drop of topics covered at the meeting. The essence of the meaning of our lives, all woven into the stories of beautiful women and lots of reflections. Sources of female power, enslavement, stereotypes, studies that show how the IT market is shaping up for us Women, and how much work we still have ahead of us to change the consciousness of people who often see the world of technology as an industry dedicated to men.
I can’t list everything that Małgorzata Ohme talked about, and still, even though it’s been a week, I’m very impressed with the lecture.
The theme of community is the first thing that touched me, because it resonates with my view of relationships. It also resonates with the theme of the meeting, which is partnership.
I don’t need to convince anyone how important good relationships based on trust are. How much their quality affects our well-being, which according to statistics we have at a low level these days, how much creating a community affects building valuable partnerships in business and in life.
I also see that the Women of IT event has become our little women’s community, where we can meet and talk or simply just hug. There are few such purely human reflexes in the hard business in which we, IT Women, function every day.
The second, and in fact the first lecture (because Malgosia Ohme performed at the end) that absolutely delighted me was Agata Dokurno’s lecture on art. Agata, of course, talked about partnerships and the VMware Partner Connect platform, but I changed the title of her talk to my own: “Passion and love for art. How to kidnap the listener into the world of beauty with a capital “B”. For me, that’s exactly what it was. Thanks to the charismatic Agata, I moved into the world of opera, theater and Picasso. I immediately wanted to see the exhibitions at the National Museum and Bajadera at the Grand Theater. I will reveal a big secret to you that as a little girl I really wanted to be a ballerina. The memories came alive.
That’s the kind of experience and excitement I expect from the Women of IT and Girls of Arrow Electronics, hats off to you, because you raised the bar a lot. You have whetted appetites for the next event and not only because of the delicious Japanese cuisine at the #Nobu Hotel (and that dessert, that insane chocolate mango mousse…).
A big thank-you for creating a fantastic, friendly atmosphere and inviting me.
Finally, I will write that I always keep repeating: I love the feminine energy. We, Women, are extremely inspiring and can be very supportive of each other. I will also repeat after Małgosia:”Just here and now”, because that’s all that really that matters.
I recommend you to think if you are a child of the universe and if you can selflessly be there for someone just like that? Here and now? Are you good business partners? I’ll leave you with these questions and invite you to share what is your opinion on this matter.
Cucumber season 🥒 🥒 😊 in full swing.
Vacation, rest, relaxation and travel. That’s what I want to think about right now, but work won’t do itself, and even though the time seems to be summer and light, it’s hot and happening a lot at our place. 💪 Before the vacations, I wanted to publish you something that hasn’t been in INDEVOPS yet. A real treat, inspired by our favorite text this year by Marcin Rzepa: https://lnkd.in/d29Xrb_6
Reality, however, showed me that it’s not the time for this publication, but I’m not letting go and the surprise will be soon 👀 👌 😊
I leave you in this vacation malaise and wish you nice vacation experiences and cool memories.
If you want to write me about them, go ahead 😊 😉
I love the feminine energy. Women are extremely inspiring and wonderful!!! I know, I know, it’s not women’s day, but there’s a lot going on around girls right now, including in the IT world.
There are more and more of us in this heavily male-oriented industry, and it’s mega!!!
INDEVOPS’ delegation of the fair sex, that is Marzena Malkiewicz and me already on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in the Warsaw interiors of The Brain Embassy for the event “Women in IT”, which annually brings together IT business and great Women.
