Day 2 in Las Vegas during VMware Explore on Tour 2025

Today at VMware Explore on Tour in Las Vegas, Chris Wolf announced the launch of VCF 9.0 in subscription with Private AI Service. This is undoubtedly a milestone towards simpler and more flexible use of the cloud.

During the session, we had the opportunity to exchange experiences in building solutions that extend the capabilities of VCF in the area of monitoring and automation. All the work we have done so far on learning about the API/SDK has definitely paid off.

INDEVOPS Addons remain fully compatible with VCF 9.0 and allow us to further customize the platform to our customers’ needs.

For us, this is everyday life. We have always believed that a good hashtag#dashboard should show the status of the entire environment in 5 seconds and make it easier to spot problems. That’s why we are fans of the heatmap, and now in VCF 9.0 we have another tool: 👌 new clock-shaped widgets that visualize performance and show how much “turnover” the infrastructure or applications are generating.

That’s all for today.

The second day of VMwareExplore was very successful!

More reports coming soon. 🖐 🖐

And here is the recap from the VMware blog by Broadcom

Day 1 from VMware Explore on Tour 2025. Remember the time difference. Join us!

Today’s sessions confirmed that our approach to monitoring, which we have been developing at INDEVOPS since the very beginning, is perfectly in line with the direction and vision of VMware by Broadcom.

This is a clear signal to us that our ideas and solutions in the form of VCF Addons naturally fit into the concept presented at VMware #Explore. It shows that together we are creating the future of monitoring.

Thanks to the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) package, which integrates previously distributed and licensed components, it is now possible to comprehensively monitor the entire Private Cloud stack.

#VCF enables better observability at both the infrastructure and application levels. Also it allows for better monitoring and cost management. And finally it enables  different teams (with different perspectives) to work on a common tool.

Using VCF and our add-ons (#Addons), we are able to build a monitoring platform that enables operators to be proactive. This allows them to:

👉 prevent failures instead of just reacting to them,
👉 prevent “alarm fatigue” when there are too many alarms and they are generated incorrectly,
👉 analyze events, logs, metrics, and data flow in one place.

This integrated approach significantly increases the reliability of the entire environment, speeds up problem diagnosis, saves time, and… our customers’ nerves.”

Day 1 in Las Vegas during VMware Explore on Tour 2025

On Sunday, INDEVOPS correspondent Marcin Rzepa arrived at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, where we will meet with IT and cloud leaders over the next few days to explore the future of infrastructure and AI.

Today is the last day for formalities and registration. We took advantage of the option to pick up our ID badges and conference materials, which opened yesterday. Logistics management is key to the start of any conference! 😊

In the evening, the first item on the agenda was the Welcome Reception at “The Hub”. It was the perfect moment for informal conversations, meetings, and building relationships with other participants in a relaxed atmosphere.

The coming days promise to be intense: technical sessions, hands-on workshops, AI and private cloud experts. I can already say that Indevops is off to a strong start here!

Stay Tuned! 👌
