More visibility. Less complexity.

More visibility. Less complexity.

We have already written a little about our VCF Addons products, but words are one thing, and practice is another. 😊

In practice, it looks like this!

We organise meetings, workshops, demos and presentations for our customers. We talk, look for solutions to their problems until we find the best ones.

This week, we had such a meeting with our clients, where Marcin Rzepa showed in practice how our solutions can help them better manage their infrastructure and business services, how INDEVOPS can take their VCF to the highest level and make full use of the VCF Operations & Automation tool.

We also showed a demo of the Agent Management Platform, which facilitates the management of monitoring agents, automates their implementation and maintenance, and increases control over the VCF environment.

It was an exciting time, thank you.

Partner Sales Activation Training in Lisbon 2025

Partner Sales Activation Training in Lisbon 2025

This week with Kacper Durawa is all about inspiration and knowledge! 💡

We are currently attending Partner Sales Activation Training 2025 in sunny Lisbon ☀️.

It is three days of intensive training, meetings and exchange of experiences with partners from all over Europe.

The aim of the event is to develop sales skills, better understand customer needs and support them even more effectively in solving problems.

For several months now, the top topic has been VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0, the latest version of the cloud platform from VMware by Broadcom, designed for simplified management, automation and AI readiness.

We have already written about VCF 9.0 in the article:

Last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting Nomios Poland at the official opening of 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 & 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐨. 📱

Not only did we have the opportunity to see the latest Lenovo equipment, but we also heard about the latest solutions #VMware and #VCF9, which can be tested in this Lab, and discussed all topics related to virtualisation, data centres and hyperconvergence.

Thank you, Nomios Poland, for the invitation!

VMware Explore on Tour day 2 by Marcin Rzepa

Day 2 in Las Vegas during VMware Explore on Tour 2025

Today at VMware Explore on Tour in Las Vegas, Chris Wolf announced the launch of VCF 9.0 in subscription with Private AI Service. This is undoubtedly a milestone towards simpler and more flexible use of the cloud.

During the session, we had the opportunity to exchange experiences in building solutions that extend the capabilities of VCF in the area of monitoring and automation. All the work we have done so far on learning about the API/SDK has definitely paid off.

INDEVOPS Addons remain fully compatible with VCF 9.0 and allow us to further customize the platform to our customers’ needs.

For us, this is everyday life. We have always believed that a good hashtag#dashboard should show the status of the entire environment in 5 seconds and make it easier to spot problems. That’s why we are fans of the heatmap, and now in VCF 9.0 we have another tool: 👌 new clock-shaped widgets that visualize performance and show how much “turnover” the infrastructure or applications are generating.

That’s all for today.

The second day of VMwareExplore was very successful!

More reports coming soon. 🖐 🖐

And here is the recap from the VMware blog by Broadcom

Day 1 from VMware Explore on Tour 2025. Remember the time difference. Join us!

Today’s sessions confirmed that our approach to monitoring, which we have been developing at INDEVOPS since the very beginning, is perfectly in line with the direction and vision of VMware by Broadcom.

This is a clear signal to us that our ideas and solutions in the form of VCF Addons naturally fit into the concept presented at VMware #Explore. It shows that together we are creating the future of monitoring.

Thanks to the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) package, which integrates previously distributed and licensed components, it is now possible to comprehensively monitor the entire Private Cloud stack.

#VCF enables better observability at both the infrastructure and application levels. Also it allows for better monitoring and cost management. And finally it enables  different teams (with different perspectives) to work on a common tool.

Using VCF and our add-ons (#Addons), we are able to build a monitoring platform that enables operators to be proactive. This allows them to:

👉 prevent failures instead of just reacting to them,
👉 prevent “alarm fatigue” when there are too many alarms and they are generated incorrectly,
👉 analyze events, logs, metrics, and data flow in one place.

This integrated approach significantly increases the reliability of the entire environment, speeds up problem diagnosis, saves time, and… our customers’ nerves.”

VCF 9 and SDN: Revolutionizing private network management with Virtual Private Cloud

VCF 9 and SDN: Revolutionizing private network management with Virtual Private Cloud

With each passing day, I’m becoming more and more convinced of the vision Broadcom is showing for the development of VMware Cloud Foundation 9 (VCF9). What was a promise not so long ago is now starting to work in practice – and it’s working brilliantly. The concept of SDN and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), which takes on a new dimension in VCF9, has particularly caught my attention recently.

👉 If this is your first contact with the series, be sure to also read the first introductory article to VCF9 here.

In this article, I’ll show you why it’s worth getting interested in it and what it all looks like in practice – step by step.

Why is it worth betting on VCF9 in a network context?

Let’s start with the basics. The very idea of building an SDN network using VPC is not new – it already appeared in VCF 5.2 and users have been using it ever since. What is changing is how this concept is being consumed and developed. Integration with the self-service portal – both within vCenter and the more modern approach, VCF Automation – is key here.

But one step at a time.

How does VPC work in VCF9?

VPC works at the SDN, or programmable network, level. Each physical server with vSphere is connected to a physical VLAN through which SDN packets flow. The whole thing is controlled by NSX, VMware’s flagship networking component. For simplicity’s sake, imagine that a VLAN is a highway on which data trucks travel. These trucks carry smaller packets – the actual network packets.

Creating VPCs - something nice for everyone

In the new approach, VPCs can be created in several ways:

  • vCenter – a familiar and well-loved interface, ideal for virtualization administrators who can create a VPC with literally a few clicks.

  • NSX – a more advanced console for network professionals who need full control over their SDN infrastructure.

  • VCF Automation – ideal for users outside the networking and virtualization world who also want to create their own network environments.

VCF Automation - what does it look like in practice?

We create regions – e.g. one for the Data Center in Warsaw, another for the DC in Poznan.

  • We create organizations (tenants) – we assign administrators to each organization.

  • Organizational administrators create projects, namespaces and, of course, VPCs.

  • End users – can then divide the VPCs into smaller network segments, establish addressing and run services.

What used to take days or weeks (configuring VLANs, changing switches, assigning to vSphere), today users can do themselves in 2-3 minutes.

      Control, history, security

Every operation in VCF Automation is recorded. Every step can be analyzed and accounted for. VPC can be easily scaled, assigned to different projects and network segments. We can also easily control whether a user has access to the outside world or only to internal resources. What’s more – communication between different VPCs is also possible.

Now let’s think: doesn’t all this remind you of a public cloud? Regions, organizations, VPCs, network segmentation – after all, these are classics of public cloud. Only that with VCF9 we have it all at home – in our own Data Center, under full control, without compromising on security, and – importantly – with much lower operating costs than in the public cloud.

I’ve seen it in action – it’s no longer a vision, it’s a reality. And I have to admit: I really like it.

We will soon look at another important aspect – how to implement advanced security mechanisms in our VCF9 private cloud environment, which security professionals still often only dream about.
